The adventure continues, the one God has for me.
This past month I have learn to explore my own adventure, the one God has for me. I tested the waters of a few different paths, and received answers to prayer of “No” or “Not yet.” But one “Yes” has remained consistent, and that is moving forward on the adventure of creating Brigade Ministries.
I am excited at the progress of Brigade Ministries’ start. Somedays I feel we’re behind schedule, but more days I feel like we are so far ahead because of the fast pace to meet the deadlines of the incubator program. I am so thankful for everything accomplished thus far and am completely amazed at the amount of strength I have been given to keep moving at this pace.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Eph 6:10-11
I have felt and seen God’s power during these past two months. I have also felt the enemy working sneakily behind the scenes. The distractions and the challenges of stepping into this unknown space have peaked at times, frequently with despair. But, I have found myself remembering our time in preparing to go to India and living there; the times where God showed up unexpectedly, and just in time. A promise of deliverance into the promised land, as spoken in Exodus, in times of need.
The verse above is exactly why I stepped into starting up Brigade. The reminder we are at battle daily and the necessity of starting our day prepared and with a warrior mindset is crucial. As an America, I often forget the total reliance on God needed daily. The business and general noise creating distraction. Yet, He is always there no matter the circumstances and WE are always on the winning side.
I am grateful for all who have been praying for me and the team.
